Q: QuestionI need pedestals for a LG TROMM w/d set...I was given a LG TROMM front load washer and dryer. The washer model appears to be WD6360 and the dryer TD0070. Can I get pedestals to fit this set ?

• A:Answer Hello Jack, Thank you for your inquiry. Regrettably both the LG TROMM Front Load Washer and Dryer have long since been discontinued and I do not have access to the specifications for these units, however, there are 2 ways that you can go about this inquiry. The current LG pedestals available are the WDP4_ and the WDP5_ which are respectively for 27" and 29" wide Washers and Dryers. You can measure the width of your Washer and Dryer and if it is any of the widths mentioned above then it may work. The other way to get an answer to your inquiry would be to call the LG Interactive Center (800) 243-0000 and inquire from a representative there about that...IFV

• A:Answer It is not recommended to alter the pedestal from its original condition. Duct work should be constructed behind the unit to connect to the original wall vent.

Q: QuestionIs the 27" Kenmore 796.51022900 pedestal the same as the LG WDP4W ? I plan to replace my Kenmore washer 796.41172211 made by LG IN 2013.. I want to replace the Kenmore washer with a new LG washer WM3400CW and use the Kenmore pedestal.

• A:Answer I took delivery of the LG washer WM3400CW and found the 27" Kenmore pedestal to be a perfect fit. The 27" Kenmore pedestal is the exact same pedestal as the LG WDP4W. Simply place the LG washer on top of the Kenmore pedestal, fasten with the same screws and level.

• A:Answer You can use your existing pedestal. WDP4* replaced the WDP3* pedestal but they are both designed for compatibility with 27" LG Front Load Washers and Dryers. The only difference between them will be the mounting bracket installation. The WDP4* uses the t-clip installation method. ^Daphane

• A:Answer Speed Queen Dryer brands are no guaranteed to be compatible with this LG pedestal. Generally different brands cannot be stacked because the footprint may not align properly to allow the units to be securely mounted. ^Daphane

• A:Answer I purchased the pedestal WDP3W & the Washer WM4000HWA at the same time. The delivery setup was completed by the two guys that brought the product to my house and they didn't need any extra materials. I also purchased the matching gas dryer DLGX4001W with the same pedestal and no extra materials were needed.

• A:Answer I’m not 100% that it will. But I believe LG only have one size pedestal that’s out now.. Bestbuy delivery team install and setup the washer and dryer for me. And that was only pedestals that I could find after doing a lot research online.. after all my research they all pointed back to this pedestal. It works fine with my LG set. I do not have any Vibration or knocking sound from them.

• A:Answer I don't know about your particular washer. but when I called LG to find out which pedestal would fit the washer and dryer I had on order they recommended this pedestal as being compatible. However. when delivery day arrived (after waiting over a month) the pedestals were too wide so the fasteners didn't match up. So I am now in the process of returning two pedestals. and can't find any others to fit my laundry pair. You would think that the company who makes them would be accurate in their information. but no. I am not very happy with LG although the machines work just fine. So I would advise you to be careful. and not count on LG knowing what they're talking about, Good luck.
