Hello, there is a video at the end with the pictures at the top that explains differences between hdr. Basically hdr 400 is not true hdr and won't look as good as hdr 10 aka hdr 1000. It will still look good just not as good. The difference is the nits of the display, this monitor for example is 350 nits and I assume 400 when using hdr. Most monitors these days will have an hdr 300 or hdr 400 as opposed to hdr 1000 unless you are willing to pay a lot more. Even though a monitor may be listed as hdr 10, always look at the description for the nits brightness where usually it will still be around 300-400 nits. I would say 350 is better vs 250 nits because you will be able to have brighter display and color. Hope this helps you some :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDR10 and HDR 400 are the same. HDR 400 mentions the level of brightness on the display, i.e. 400 nits. Please reach out to our support team on Twitter via @LGUSSupport or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/LGUSA. ^Daphane
