• In 3 ICE mode (default setting), the Craft Ice icemaker produces 1 batch of round ice (3 pieces) about every 24 hours. In 6 ICE mode, the Craft Ice icemaker produces 2 batches of round ice (6 pieces total) in the same period. ^Daphane

• We don't use craft ice too often; we just use the regular ice maker. But based on our experience thus far, I would say that the fridge makes 2 or 3 craft ice cubes per day. Overall we love the fridge.

• As a comparison, I make my own craft ice in spheres. My container makes two 2" spheres in about 12 hours. So, to make 6 spheres, it would take over 36 hours. In the 6 sphere a day mode, you could make 12 spheres in the time I could make 8. The holder is about 4" wide by 8" long by 8" tall, so it takes up a lot of space.
