Q: QuestionI have this model and I noticed a problem that has been persistent and was wondering if anyone else has this problem. The sound bar plays well and sounds great for the price but after about 30 mins of use the volume automatically decrease.

Q: QuestionDoes dialogue come out of just the middle speaker or all 3 when watching regular tv shows? How well is the dialogue in reference to background sounds?

Q: QuestionI purchased this sound bar to use with a Epson Home Cinema projector and a laptop (video source) Would this combination of equipment work together?

• A:Answer You will need to consult the owner's manual for the projector about how to connect your laptop to it for your video source. Your laptop should have an HDMI Out that you can connect to an HDMI on your projector if is has HDMI ports on it. Unfortunately, without knowing what connectivity your projector has, we cannot determine if you can connect the Soundbar to it. The LG 3.1-Channel 420W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and DTS Virtual:X - Black, Model # SN6Y can be connected in one of three ways. It is a Bluetooth enabled Soundbar so if your projector supports Bluetooth, you can pair it with the Soundbar. The second way to connect the Soundbar is through its HDMI ARC port which can be connected to an HDMI ARC port if your projector has one. The third way is to connect the Soundbar through its Optical Digital Audio Input if you projector has an Optical Digital Audio Output...^IFV

Q: QuestionWill my CD player's digital audio format (PCM from its optical out port) be compatible with this sound bar? The LG website said LPCM is compatible but it didn't say anything about PCM. Is it that PCM will work if LPCM does?

• A:Answer PCM is usually associated with lossless uncompressed 2 channel audio while LPCM is more commonly used when referng to multichannel lossless uncompressed audio streams. PCM can carry surround sound but it cannot do so over an optical cable. The optical cable can only carry stereo PCM. To send surround PCM, you'll need to use the HDMI port on the LG SN6Y 3.1 Channel High Res Audio Sound Bar with DTS Virtual:X...^IFV

Q: QuestionI'm having issues with the volume. Whenever I turn up the volume on the soundbar to 22 or 23 and then leave it there for a minute, the sound coming from the soundbar reduces dramatically. The volume is still set to 22 or 23, but you can hardly hear it

• A:Answer Hello there! Have you tried a Hard/Factory Reset for the Soundbar’s remote? Press the Input and Bluetooth buttons altogether on the Soundbar for approximately 15 seconds. • A:Answer It depends on the hearing aids. Most offer a separate unit that allows for this, but not directly. This is with the hearing aid manufacturer, not the sound bar. I use a separate (Avanta) Bluetooth enabler— connect to sound bar to that unit, and over the ear headphones, which avoids the inconvenience of switching off TV to hear other people in the room.- I just take off the headphones.

• A:Answer No the subwoofer is not required, although it does make a big difference as far as sound experience. The subwoofer is also wireless so you don't need it plugged into the sound bar for it to work, just needs power plugged into it. I have my subwoofer behind my couch and feels like I'm in a theater.
