A:AnswerWait for the refrigerator to cool.
Allow your refrigerator to run for at least two to three hours before putting food in it. Check the flow of cold air in the freezer compartment to ensure proper cooling.
Thank you for your question :)
Have a lovely week!
A:AnswerIf the fridge is 429 or higher there is no delivery fee. Also they will haul-away your old for free to. They just can't install any water lines because the deliver guys are not PLUMBERS!

A:AnswerDo not rely on the icemaker. It jams up all the time, leaks out the front of the door, and creates major chunks. LG customer service is horrible. I have had my icemaker replaced three times and it keeps getting worse. I would look at the Samsung. I never had a problem with my old Samsung.
A:AnswerThat is not true at all, in my experience. I have been filling my blender full of water, and it's cold. The ice maker and water in the door are wonderful, in our experience. The crushed ice feature is the best I've seen.
A:AnswerYes. The ice maker is in the left-hand door. To get to it, you open the left-hand door. Then, pull a lever on the door to get to the ice-maker and bin, which can be easily removed.
A:Answerit keeps inside smellin' nice, has a charcoal filter that kicks in 5 mins. every hour. if something really smells, you can activate it to run continuously for an hour, i believe, then it goes back to 5min/per hour cycle. It is behind that blue light at back of refer.
A:AnswerHello Poi rot,
When the door is open 90 degrees, there is going to be some overlap on the sides so the doors are not flush with the sides. In fact, not even the bottom freezer is flush with the sides and if you go back and look at the pictures of the unit open, especially with the bottom freezer door open, the amount it overlaps by should give you an idea of how much the refrigerator doors will overlap by...IFV
A:AnswerFirst of all, your pic shows a side-by-side fridge, not a french door fridge. Even so, whether you have a SxS or a french door fridge (freezer on bottom), you'll need to pull out the fridge to where the box of the fridge (not the doors) is even with the end of the partition wall. Then open the left door as far as you must in order to pull out any drawers or rolling storage baskets all the way out to the built in drawer stop. You'll probably find that this is most likely going to require you to open the door all the way, as the in-door storage shelves will block the drawer baskets from rolling out all the way unless you completely open the door. That's typically the case. Once you figure out how wide you must open your left door, then either move the fridge to the right with it pushed all the way back in place until you can pull out those rolling baskets/drawers with the door open, or prior to doing that, take a measurement from the left side of the fridge to the outside edge of the left door and use the measurement plus a quarter of an inch and move your fridge that far to the right. Either method works. If you're buying a new fridge, do the same thing at the store and take that measurement, add it to the overall fridge width, then go home first and see what size fridge you can place in that location. If you've got cabinets to the right of the fridge location, you're limited in the size fridge you can buy and what fancy amenities you can include in it and still open the doors all the way. As a kitchen designer and cabinet installer by trade, you will want to be able to open your fridge door all the way. It's an expensive appliance and you really should be able to use it every day in a comfortable manner. You don't want to get frustrated with it by not being able to use it as it was designed to be used. Enjoy and embrace the kitchen you have. When you remodel your kitchen or buy a new home, you can remember this when it comes to placement of the fridge and which fridge you buy.
A:AnswerIt if was a used $400 fridge, sure. But, I wouldn't even consider laying a fridge of this cost on it's side. Rent a Uhaul or a Home Depot truck and save yourself lots of grief and protect your investment.
A:AnswerI assume you're trying to see if you can get this into your house. Note that the BB delivery team had to remove both the front doors of the fridge and my house's front door along with the handrail on my stairway in order to get the fridge up to our kitchen on the second floor (we're in a "raised ranch" style home). The depth of the fridge with the doors removed is approx. 30.5" Our stairway is 35" wide and they negotiated it up those stairs without damaging the walls.
A:AnswerHave you tried the manufacturer or someone locally who does repairs. If the refrigerator isn't that old and there's a warranty on it, then the manufacturer should repair or replace the part.
A:AnswerFront is aluminum, sides are SS. Windex works great to clean, but if have scratches the front is clear coat paint on aluminum and you will destroy the front finish. Choice is to change the entire front finish and lose the clear coat paint, or have a specialist do it and repaint.
A:AnswerOurs did as well, give it a few days and it clears up. Remember the tubing, storage and all are made of plastic, thus water can pick up the smell. We had a samsung and I think it had a better water filter but its acceptable. Also if you put a new water line in it could be part of the problem as well.... ours took about 3 weeks to be acceptable.
