QuestionThis oven uses infrared heating system. I understand it’s faster and conserves energy, but does anyone know how safe it is from health point of view. We’ve been hearing so much about the harmful effects of microwave cooking, I want to be sure this is safe

- Answer Harmful effects of microwave go back to original designs many years ago that leaked microwaves outside of the oven. That has been corrected for a long time...Newer microwaves do not leak. As for effect of microwaves on food, they cause the water in the food to heat up and cook by steam. There is no residual effect once shut off. QuestionHas anyone put this on a 40 amp circuit, and if so, have you ever had your breaker trip (and if so, under what conditions)? My breaker on this circuit is 40A, which would handle the 7800w, unless under huge surge with all the elements going at once...

QuestionWhen Either the oven or the micro dies do I have to replace the whole entire unit or do they come apart and you only have to replace the bad unit.... It can get real expensive replacing the entire unit if only lets say the micro dies, oven still perfect

- Answer The oven is combined with one control panel. It is possible that a repairman could repair or replace one unit separately but not easily done. More likely to need to replace the whole combined oven.

- Answer There is no plug, just cable that has four wires with connectors. It is a separate cable that comes with it so you have to connect it to the owen and to the electrical source. Hope this helps.

QuestionI JUST BOUGHT LWC3063ST & LOVE IT. THE ONLY THING I NOTICED THAT WHEN I PUT NY INTERIOR LIGHT ON IT DOESN'T STAY ON. IT SHUTS OFF AFTER COUPLE OF MINUTES. IS THAT NORMAL? IT IS KIND OF ANNOWYING.

- Answer The interior oven light automatically turns on when the door is opened. Touch Lower Light to manually turn the lower oven light on. The lamp of the lower oven will turn off after 2 minutes and 30 seconds to save power. ^CP

For the top oven, while using the convection bake mode, it's recommended to use the metal tray as it is designed to withstand the high heat and ensure even cooking. - Answer The power leads supplied with the LG 30" Built-In Electric Convection Smart Combination Wall Oven with Microwave and Infrared Heating™ - Stainless Steel, Model # LWC3063ST are UL, CSA recognized for connection to larger gauge household wiring. The insulation of these leads is rated at temperatures much higher than the temperature rating of household wiring. The current carrying capacity of the conductor is governed by the wire gauge and the temperature rating of the insulation around the wire. It can be hardwired into a junction box with a 3-Wire Circuit Connection or a 4-Wire Circuit Connection in accordance with your local building codes and regulations or in their absence, with the with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No.70- latest edition. The Junction Box must be recessed and conduit connector must be used at Junction Box. If local codes permit connection of the frame grounding conductor to the neutral(white) wire, follow the instructions for a 3-wire circuit connection. The LG LWC3063ST Combination Double Wall Oven does not come with a power cord and plug. It requires a hardwired electrical connection instead of a plug and receptacle. A U.L.-listed conduit connector must be provided at the junction box for the electrical connection. This means that the oven needs to be directly wired to a power source, and a specific plug type is not applicable in this case.
