QuestionWill this monitor function at 30 Hz? That's the most my computer can deliver over HDMI or Thunderbolt. I need the monitor for photo editing, not video. Thanks.

- Answer Yes it will. If you are moving up from a smaller monitor, be aware that although this is a 4K monitor, at 32 inches it will only deliver 138 DPI, which is acceptable for photo editing, but it may leave you disappointed if you have been using a 27 inch 4K monitor, which delivers 165 DPI. It is a really good monitor, but if you are doing a lot of critical zoomed in editing, be aware that anything over 27 inches starts losing that prime resolution that benefits zoomed in editing. Anyway as a former wedding photographer that was my experience.

QuestionRegarding the built in speakers, can you turn them off permanently or do you need to turn them off every time you turn on the monitor? For my use case I will be using headphones and a mic and don't want any other outside noise.

- Answer I only use headphones with this monitor and I have them plugged in the back of the monitor and by doing this it totally disables the speakers. Hope that answers your question. If you were wanting to plug the headphones in the computer, and not the monitor, you could use the monitor joystick and select settings and then sound. Next just turn the sound all the way down and that should do it.

QuestionIt is my understanding this monitor has no rotation adjustment (from landscape to portrait) and no swivel adjustment (a left or right pivot on the axis of the stand). Is that correct or incorrect?

- Answer That is right. Up and down and tilt only, and the bottom of the screen is three inches above the desk at the lowest and 7 inches at the highest. Great monitor for flight sims that you only have the graphic power to run at 60 FPS or less (what I mainly use it for)or any game that works well at 60 FPS or less. It is not overclockable to 75 Hz. It is G-Sync compatible and works great at any refresh rate between 30 and 60 FPS. It is sharp and the colors are great for gaming and more than acceptable for photo editing and non critical video editing. It is VESA compatible if you want to put it on a different monitor stand.

- Answer Hello! The LG UltraFine UHD Monitor has a button on the bottom of the monitor that you push to get to settings. It is also a directional rocker switch; rock it towards you to bring up the accessibility settings and switch it to off. ~Rita

- Answer Yes, but you will need an USB-C to HDMI adapter. I think it is wall mountable but you have to buy the wall mount separately.

QuestionIs this (LG 32UN650-W) monitor compatible with the Ergotron HX desk arm? While the monitor sounds to have a VESA 100 by 100 mount, I have have seen references (including on Ergotron's own web site) that it might not fit on the HX desk arm. Thanks.
