• Thank you for reaching us regarding LG Air Conditioner. To clean the filter on your LG LW8024RD window air conditioner: 1. Turn off the unit and unplug it. 2. Find the filter on the front of the unit (you may need to remove the front cover or grille). 3. Gently pull out the filter and wash it with warm, soapy water. 4. Rinse and dry the filter thoroughly before putting it back in its original position. 5. Reattach the front cover if you removed it. 6. Plug the unit back in and turn it on.
