A:Answer I use the optical cable that came with my soundbar and connect the soundbar to the optical jack on my TV and it sounds great. That way you don't have to use up one of your HDMI jacks and can leave it them to be used for your cable box, game systems, etc. the optical cable that comes with this sound bar is thin and lightweight, and I even have it running behind the wall through A/V wall plates and it still sounds great.
