I personally have not had this problem. I use wool dryer balls and don't load more clothes than fit in the washer at one time. I have noticed that if I quickly touch the clothes, I think they're damp, but if I take them out of the dryer for a few seconds or leave my hand on them longer, I realize the clothes are actually dry and what my hand thought was damp clothes was really just the humidity in the dryer air. Hope that helps.

We understand your concern with your LG dryer (Model: DLHC1455W) not drying clothes completely and taking a long time to do so. Let's go through some possible reasons and troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue: Possible Causes and Solutions: Load Size and Type: Mixed Loads: If you are drying a mix of heavy and light fabrics, the heavier items might not dry as quickly as the lighter ones. Try drying similar fabric types together to see if that improves the drying performance. Overloading: Overloading the dryer can restrict airflow and prevent clothes from drying properly. Make sure the load size is appropriate for the dryer’s capacity. Lint Filter: Check and Clean the Lint Filter: A clogged lint filter can impede airflow, leading to longer drying times. Make sure to clean the lint filter before each load. Ventilation: Check the Dryer Vent Hose: Ensure the vent hose is not kinked, blocked, or clogged with lint. Poor ventilation can cause the dryer to take longer to dry clothes and may leave them damp. Shorten the Vent Hose: If the vent hose is too long or has multiple bends, it can reduce the efficiency of the drying process. Try shortening or straightening the hose to improve airflow. Dryer Settings: Check the Drying Program: Ensure that you’re using the correct drying program for the type of fabric you’re drying. Some cycles, like the "Energy Saver" or "Delicate" cycles, may not provide enough heat for heavier loads. Adjust the Dryness Level: If the clothes are consistently damp, try increasing the dryness level setting on the dryer. Moisture Sensor: Clean the Moisture Sensor: The dryer has moisture sensors that detect the moisture level in clothes. If these sensors are dirty, they might not function properly, leading to clothes being left damp. Clean the sensors with a soft cloth. Check for Error Codes: If your dryer is displaying any error codes, consult the user manual to understand the issue and follow the recommended steps. If you've tried these steps and the issue persists, there could be a more specific problem with the dryer that requires professional assistance.
