That’s not the problem. I’v cleaned everything, maybe the drum?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you leave your cloths in the washer and don't put them in the dryer with a reasonable time, all washing machines will have cloths smelling moldy if it's sitting in water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had the machine for a few months and there are no discernible smells coming from it (unless I leave sweaty gym clothes in there without starting it up).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't noticed one yet, and I've had mine for a little over a year. I always though remember to pull the detergent tray out after I do the wash. There's always a little water left in it that will drain out. If I didn't do that, I suppose I might get a mold/mildew smell. If you always remember to pull out the tray, I think you'll be okay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It probably gets mildew smell cause you have to keep it closed all the time since it's a front loader. I leave my top loader open until it's dry, then close it. It smells fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No issues with mildew or mold .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had my LG top load washer for a few months now and have not had that problem at all. No mold or mildew or smells. It's very clean!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Owned for 2 months, no mildew smell. I leave my top loader lid open until it's dry too. No idea if this really helps. According to the sales associate it is recommended you run the "TUB CLEAN" cycle with some of BB's drum cleaner solution about once a month. This will help prevent lime and calcium build up on the drum and extend the life of your washer. I believe he also claimed it would help neutralize any lingering smells. I've never tried it. Also, the instruction manual recommends against placing any dirty clothes items in the drum until you are ready to wash them. As for the front loader mold smell, I know exactly where that is coming from (I think). A front load washer has to maintain a seal between the door and the drum during a wash cycle to prevent water leakage and spilling. The soft rubbery collar/gasket just inside the frame of the washer and attached to the drum is designed to do just that. However, water does sometimes leak in small amounts onto that collar. This can create mold if you don't clean it periodically. Top loaders do not have the same issues because there is no seal between the lid and the drum.
I would recommend:
