- Answer Generally speaking, 4 cubic feet is enough to wash 12-16 pounds of laundry. A larger capacity unit at 4.5 cubic feet can hold up to 20 pounds of laundry. A general rule of thumb is a queen size comforter can fit into 3.5 cubic feet and a king size comforter fit into a 3.8 cubic feet machine. ^CP

- Answer I could not find a specification for this but front load HE (High Efficiency) washers use less water than top load washers. - Answer I stacked my dryer on it with no problem. If your dryer tends to vibrate though I would find a way to anchor it to the washer.

QuestionWhen we load detergent into the dispenser cup and run a load the cup fills with water and the detergent just sticks in the cup. If we use pods directly in in the tub the dispenser cup has standing water in it when the load is done. Has anyone seen this?

- Answer Hi MegS. It is normal for some residual water to remain in the dispenser tray for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Front Load Washer with ColdWash™ Technology, Model # WM3270CW after each wash. However, this tray should not be filled completely with water. Depending on how long you have had this washer, detergent can gradually build up in the detergent tray and its attachments over time. If these are not cleaned regularly, the water and additives will not dispense fully and water will remain in the compartments. If any of the attachments are not inserted properly, the tray will not dispense correctly and water may be left in it. Remove the detergent drawer and make certain that all of the attachments and the drawer are inserted properly...^IFV

- Answer If you have an issue with maintenance, don't get an LG front loader. You have to clean the filter in the back every month. I don't know about other brands.
