Hello, it is just an option to use the ThinQ app. You can still use and enjoy the feature of the machine even without wifi connection.^Venette

Please try again later.There are probably a few features I'm not taking advantage of by not using the app, but I've been using my washer/dryer for a couple of months now and haven't used the app. I think the app is mainly so you can start a load remotely. Love the washer and dryer so far!
