It can be disassembled for the purpose of moving/installing, but will not operate until it is re-assembled. See page 29 of the Installation Manual.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES this item can and may be disconnected and unstacked for installation. It's only 8 screws and two connector cables. Some models may have more but it's super easy to see the panel disconnection points on the sides of the panels. Use one really big philips. If your installer doesn't want to install it, get one that knows how to read a manual because it is both on the LG website and the manual on page 29. You cannot use the tower unstacked. They must be stacked to operate. Super compact! The electric uses a 220 and 120 plug at 10A at 120 and 15A at 220.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this unit and after 2 failed deliveries due to lack of manpower showing up, the 3rd team was the only team that knew about separating the tower for installation if needed. So I watched them separate it to carry up the many stairs to my front door. They reassembled it and I've been using for about 4 months, love it but the hassle of delivery was a real pain due to delivery people showing up who were uninformed about separating it or sending out enough people to deliver such an unwieldy item. It is a bit scary looking if you have a lot of stairs and don't separate. My sister also had one delivered, but with fewer stairs her delivery guys installed without separating and it went without a hitch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I understand this unit can be seperated for installation and service but not for regular opperation. My question will Best Buy installation (Regular or Total Tech Support) do the seperation if need to get into my home?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not meant to be separated by the consumer. It is delivered as one combined unit. That said, we love this system! Not as tall as two stacked units.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it's an integrated system and works as one unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is a single unit. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is one solid unit that cannot be separated. Thus the name "Washtower" ™. The name is actually trademarked.
