No, for safety reasons you cannot stack the wash tower atop a pedestal. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one of these machines and I love it. Both in performance and the style. The low washer is a pain so I built an 81/2” platform for this. The feet are trapped and can’t bounce or vibrate off the platform. The machine weighs less than 300 pounds with the washer making up 2/3 of that weight at least. It’s not going to tip over. Use 2x8 with 3/4 or 1” plywood. You can have a drawer to put your soap. If anyone has used a pedistal from LG please reply. Did you modify the pedistal? Does it work as is? LG can’t say yes go ahead and put it on a pedistal because legal won’t let them. I would like the look of the sleek pedistal better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The washtower has the pedestal mounts put on it by the factory. They match up with the clips that come with the LG pedestal so clearly You can mount the pedestal to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can get a washer pedestal that LG makes for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have the pedestal, but I'd be concerned of the unit tipping over if used. I also know that I wouldn't be able to use a pedestal under my unit because my washroom ceiling isn't high enough. I think the pedestal is made specifically for washer and/or dryer based on pictures I've seen. For better information, I'd contact LG. I do love mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't received mined yet, it's still on order. I think that stacking this would on top of another stand would put the dryer door very high. Also, you need to measure the height of the celling in your laundry room. It is going to make the whole unit very tall. Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say mounting this unit on a pedestal would not be a good idea. It is quite tall as it is (over 6 feet) and needs to be on very stable ground to prevent vibration problems. And, most washer pedestals are designed to work with certain models of washers and dryers. This unit was not designed to be used with even an LG pedestal and pedestals were not designed for a unit this heavy.
