- Answer The control panel does not have backlighting. I have older eyes and really appreciate the app integration. I put my clothes in and adjust all the settings on the app and start the cycle.

QuestionHas anyone had problems with the washer door seal molding?

- Answer I have had front loader washer for a long time and didn't experience any seal molding issue. If anyone is experiencing mold issue, that means they are not drying off the seal and leaving the door open. With front loading washing machines, it's important to dry off the seal after each washing cycle and leave the door open. If you don't dry it off and close the door then there will be a mold issue. Simple is that.

- Answer Ues, this can fit a king-size comforter. However, while some comforters may fit and go through a cycle without issue, some may have embellishments or thicker filling that may cause issues with the wash process.

- Answer Periodically clean the drain filter to prevent clogging with foreign objects. The drain filter is located at the bottom left side of the unit. In areas with hard water, mineral scale can form on internal components of the washer. Periodically clean the mineral buildup on the internal components to extend the lifespan of the washer. Use of a water softener is recommended in areas with hard water. Use a towel or soft cloth to wipe around the washer door opening and door glass. After the cycle is finished, wipe the door and the inside of the door seal to remove any moisture. Leave the door open to dry the drum interior. Wipe the body of the washer with a dry cloth to remove any moisture. ^CP

- Answer The washer should be plugged into a 120-VAC, 60Hz grounded 3-prong outlet. - Answer No. I asked about this as well. Only one brand has a switchable door. Apparently the switching process messes with the seal and has leaking issues. I would have liked to switch mine as well but it’s not terrible to work around. Maybe someday companies will give you the dedicated option of which way you want the door to open.

- Answer The depth is 30.25". To ensure sufficient clearance for water lines, the drain line and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the unit. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane

- Answer The old base WILL fit the LG3900. I removed the old base, putty knife will seperate the glue. The delivery guys set the machine on the old base. I siliconed the panels that hold the machine in place.
