The answer to that question is not very straightforward. If you search around a bit, others have asked LG about this and received replies indicating that it does not support HDCP 2.2 through HDMI 2.0. That being said, all 4K/UHD TVs made on or after 2014 are supposed to have at least one HDMI input compatible with the above mentioned protocols. Notable exceptions would be off-brand models. HDMI port #1 is labeled for use with 4K 60 FPS content, and I assume this is the one compatible port in order to conform to industry standards. The TV does support HDCP 2.2, as it plays 2160p Netflix and Amazon content and that is a requirement for doing so. I don't have a Roku 4 or new Fire TV to test my hypothesis.

I read the Best Buy FAQ on 4K Ultra TVs and it mentioned that all of the 4k UHD TVs the store offers for sale are HDCP 2.2 compliant. Maybe I'll check the FAQ again to make sure, but I'm pretty sure that's what it said. Now I'm disappointed since I already bought the TV...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDCP 2.2 is not supported on this TV. I emailed LG customer support and received this in reply: "Regarding your concern, as we checked here on our resources and I regret to inform you but this model is not included on lists that support the HDCP 2.2 feature. Also, here is the lists of models UF77/UF69/UF85/UF8570/UF86/UF7780/UF7790 that supports the HDCP 2.2 feature."
