If you check the specs for this TV on the internet net page of Best Buy, the warranty information comes up as "unavailable." Because of this (which I thought was rather unusual) I purchased the extended warranty from Best Buy for two years that cost $29.99. When I read the literature that came with this product there IS a warranty. LABOR: One year from the Date of Purchase. PARTS: One year from the Date of Purchase. I also took advantage of the Best Buy return policy within 15 days of purchase date. After three days of use, the TV screen turned blue. After talking to the Geek Squad, it was determined that the main circuit board went out. Exchanged this TV for an identical one without any hassle. I'm still glad I purchased the extended warranty. It covers more items than the basic coverage from the manufacturer and Best Buy will take of all the details if something goes wrong.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the warranty on my insignia tvs mind you I purchased 8 tvs at once and got warranties for all of them. I brought my tv that had turned blue to the store. When I arrived I was greeted by the front guy. I asked him if he Agar a better cart for me to put the tvs on. He brought another cart. When we got to geek squad the tv had fallen off the cart and broke the top edge of the tv . All customer service agents sat there and did nothing in fact a young lady who I asked if I could set the tvs down on her large cart and she said no she was using it. She was leaning on it and talking to her coworker . 2 minutes later I hear her say can you move your tvs as I am on my phone now and she continues to ask until I turn around and say yes “you” may move the tvs. She gave me a look and walked away . Left the cart on the other side of the desk. Must have really needed it. I get sent to another guy at the same desk I guess it’s a different department lol the guy was right next to him. They asked me to sit at the waiting room lol that was behind me and had three chairs ?? That’s the waiting room to talk to the next department which was the guy right next to the guy I was talking to. Fast forward 30 minutes later guy walks up from the back. Can I help you ? Yes I’m trying to get my tv fixed I have a warranty. Oh I’m sorry sir you did a great job taking your tv off the wall but we come out to your house to look at the tv. Ok well I brought it here you guys can work on it here . Let me see what I can do. Comes back out 30 minutes later with same answer. Patting me on the back for what a great job I did on taking the tv off the wall. So great now I had to take tv home so they could come to my house. Mind you at this point I really don’t want any of these employees you have coming to my house. I called and made appointment because at the store they never set me up with an appointment after all of that they said you have to call . I guess they can’t get you appointment at the store . I get a confirmation call about the appointment twice night before I confirmed the 7am-1pm window 9 am I’ve been up since 7 am waiting . Guy says I’m confirming your appointment today ? I say your on the way great he says oh no sir I’m very busy I’m just confirming . Ok great so I said you prolly won’t be here for a while so that I don’t just sit here for the next 5 hours give me a call when your on the way. I get a text at 11am that he would arrive at 11:45 at 12 I get a text after sitting there for 15 minutes that he would be arriving at 12:45 now. Anyways guy shows up at 1. Tells me he’s been to my house before. Never met the guy or anything. I said I’m sorry you must be mistaken because I don’t know you and I’ve lived here for 12 years. ODDDDDD !!!! Looks at tv and says sorry this fell that’s not under warranty. Mind you it fell at your store . This was a $250 tv with a $50 warranty I paid for I purchased all these tvs with warranties and pretty much will get no where with any of them. So thank you Best Buy and sorry geek squad you may be geeks ( prolly never fix anything anyways , if you need a cable box plugged in they may be able to help ) but you suck at customer service .
