  • QuestionFollowing up on my venting of the dryer question, can the condensate be set up to drain into the washing machine sanitary drain?

    • Answer Yes, It's setup to do that. Everything you will need comes with the tower. I had the Geek Squad install mine. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Considering its size I would suggest you doing the same. It's heavy.

  • QuestionI will be purchasing this unit for my apartment. I have to have a 240V plug installed to support the dryer. What kind of 240V plug should I have installed? 3-prong, 4-prong? Is there a picture or common industry name I can give to the electrician?

    • Answer Hello, Chip. Thanks for your question. The WKHC252HWA is a ventless dryer, which means it doesn't need an outside vent. It uses condensation drying to take moisture out of clothes. In ventless dryers, moisture is collected in a tank or drained through a hose instead of going outside. The venting kit mentioned is likely an optional kit that lets you drain the water from drying directly into a floor drain, so you don’t have to empty the tank yourself. This doesn’t change the dryer into a regular vented dryer; it just makes it easier to deal with the moisture. As for venting it outside, ventless dryers like the WKHC252HWA are made to work without outdoor venting, so you can't change it to a vented model. The venting kit is only for draining, not for venting air outside.   • QuestionCan this unit be installed in a garage seating? I can't find the suggested ambient operating temperatures. If possible to get suggested temperature for installation and operation for this model.
