Hello there, thank you for your question about the WM6998HBA washer. This unit is equipped with advanced washing cycles and features like TurboWash and Allergiene, which are designed to help tackle pet hair effectively. However, due to the nature of pet hair, some may still remain in the drum after a cycle, and additional cleaning of the drum and lint filter may be necessary after each load to ensure the best performance. Feel free to reach out via private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport if you have any more questions or need assistance! We appreciate your inquiry! —Avril
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not handle pet hair AT ALL! I would definitely stay away from this unit for many other reasons besides this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a short hair domestic cat. The unit does a fine job on cat fur.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have 2 labs and the pet hair is minimal on the clothes. I will say it doesn’t do as well as a washer and dryer separately but it does okay. I do find myself cleaning the edge of the drum regularly to remove dog hair.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.4 cats in my house and it does adequate. A decent amount of hair gets stuck to the rubber door gasket. And a little stays on the clothes, but not much. Lots of it gets caught in the lint trap. I could see it being an issue in a house with extremely hairy dogs with coarse hair, like huskies. For cat hair I'm satisfied.
