- Answer A small portion of the bottom will be blocked. The space from the bottom of the TV and the tabletop is roughly 2.5" or less and the height of the Soundbar is 2.2". ^Daphane

- Answer SP9YA is a step up from the SP8YA. It is recommended for TVs 55" and up ↑. The total output power is 520W in comparison to 440W. It offers 5.1.2 channel audio in comparison to 3.1.2. QuestionPlease tell me there’s some way to turn off the display. Even dimmed, it’s way too bright and distracts from what you are watching. I’m not going to put tape over it - there’s no reason for it to have to constantly remind you that e-arc is selected.

QuestionHas anyone had issues with the subwoofer not connecting? I recently bought the setup and it was working fine. Now all of a sudden, the sub doesn’t want to connect. I’ve tried all the suggested fixes and called LG support, but nothing has resolved this.

- Answer Had that happen at first too. Just unplug it and plug it back in. It should automatically connect when you have the soundbar on.

QuestionIs this soundbar worth it for an LG OLED E8 TV?

- Answer This is a good soundbar. The volume is not as loud with ARC, so I am using the Optical cable and its plenty load with good bass for a normal size living room. I'd like to hear the setup with a tv with EARC though. I would be disappointed in volume if it is similar to arc, but assuming EARC is configured for it better. And, I may need to configure it to work properly with an older Samsung ARC tv when I find time to do so. From what I have researched it is optimal to have a Lg tv with an LG soundbar and I am looking to pair with an LG tv, even though I will not get Spectrum app with the tv apps.

QuestionBest way to hook up to a LG oled c1 tv? Optical or hdmi earc or usb? Heard both ways were best by different people...Looking at this or a wisa 5.1 believe it connects through axim usb but don't think it supports Dolby. What else can use earc for?

- Answer If you're looking for the best audio quality, HDMI is your choice. While an optical cable can still pass surround sound and super high-quality audio, thanks to the added bandwidth in the latest 2.1 version HDMI, you'll be able to pass higher resolution and audio. ^Daphane

QuestionI have a new OLED tv with multiple HDMI ports & eARC. I want to hookup Tivo, Roku and Apple TV. Can I simply run all 3 sources to TV's HDMI and then one from TV eARC to soundbar? Or does this soundbar require all HDMI inputs going to it first then to TV

- Answer Yes, the typical setup would be to connect all your video devices to your TV via HDMI, then connect the soundbar to the TV's eARC HDMI port. The sound from those devices will then output to the soundbar. Alternatively, you can connect an optical cable from your TV to the soundbar and use the eARC HDMI port as another extra HDMI input for your TV.

- Answer A soundbar can be used with any tv that has an optical or HDMI’s port on the tv. Soundbars are never device specific. So they work with pretty much ALL TVS built after year 2000 lol

- Answer Sub does nothing besides if put your hand on it can feel lil something. Soundbar was lacking till got settings on tv just right for it.

- Answer That would be a no. Why would you do that ? Just get the soundbar brackets for this model and install it as close to the bottom of tv as possible.
