“Hello, I just installed this washer as a replacement to anther LG, comparable product. My prior washer had a Diamond Glass top, while this one does not. What is the difference between Diamond Glass and just the plain glass top? Is this tempered?”

I have the same question - I cannot find any information online. This glass appears to be much thinner, I hope it is strong enough. I also notice that when the washer fills, more sound escapes (it is louder) than my prior glass topload with the sealed lid w/ diamond glass. I'm disappointed in this lid downgrade :( BOOO to LG products (other wise I do prefer LG appliances)
