I have used washers with and without agitators. I didn't like the agitators because I couldn't put large loads in. I can put darn near anything in my no agitator washer; the clothes get clean when it's several small pieces of clothing but do not come clean IF it is something like a blanket. I have a Kenmore Oasis Washer and it always lays the blanket to where the center of the blanket is in the center of the tub and it tucks the ends of the blanket underneath and the blanket is laying in the tub like a big donut (with no hole in the middle of course) but where the hole of a donut would be, there's always a big pile of dirt and dog hair laying there top and center! So most of my dirt ends up in a pile on top of my blankets. IDK if this is the same with all washers and dryers but I get a ton of dog hair in the dryer filter - I wonder why that stuff didn't come out in the washer. Maybe I'm expecting too much from my washer. I would like to hear if anyone else has this same experience. In a nutshell - I think clothes get a better wash with an agitator.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not have an agitator and I agree that without an agitator, your clothes won't get nearly as clean. I despise this washing machine. Leaves soap on your clothes and they don't smell that clean after coming out of the dryer. It was the biggest waste of money. Never again!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No "agitator" like traditional top loading machines. We have had better results with clothes smelling clean with this than any other - including front loading machines. As far as stain removal - that's something that with any washer I believe you need to pre-treat. Some will come out and some will not but don't necessarily think it's the washer problem when they don't in my opinion. Stacking the clothes in the machine is key to allowing them to get cycled thoroughly - follow the directions to stack around what would be an "invisible agitator" and should be good to go. Don't just dump and go :)
