QuestionDoes this washer have an agitator?I have been led to believe that ignored to get your laundry really clean, you need an agitator.

- Answer I have used washers with and without agitators. I didn't like the agitators because I couldn't put large loads in. I can put darn near anything in my no agitator washer; the clothes get clean when it's several small pieces of clothing but do not come clean IF it is something like a blanket. I have a Kenmore Oasis Washer and it always lays the blanket to where the center of the blanket is in the center of the tub and it tucks the ends of the blanket underneath and the blanket is laying in the tub like a big donut (with no hole in the middle of course) but where the hole of a donut would be, there's always a big pile of dirt and dog hair laying there top and center! So most of my dirt ends up in a pile on top of my blankets. IDK if this is the same with all washers and dryers but I get a ton of dog hair in the dryer filter - I wonder why that stuff didn't come out in the washer. Maybe I'm expecting too much from my washer. I would like to hear if anyone else has this same experience. In a nutshell - I think clothes get a better wash with an agitator.

QuestionWashing machine keeps displaying a dL error. The lock would not engage. I have tried restarting it many times, but it still would keep displaying the same error. I also unplugged it for couple of hours to weeks and tried it again. How can I fix it?

- Answer A dL error code on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.7 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Mega Capacity Top Load Washer With TurboWash® Technology, Model # WT7700HWA indicates that the door latch switch is not functioning properly. There are possible causes that could lead to the display showing the error code such as: An item could be caught inside the door. Remove the item then unplug the unit for 10 seconds. Plug the unit back in and try to start the cycle again. The door switch may be faulty or the door latch itself may be damaged. If the dL error code persists, the unit will require a repair service...^IFV

QuestionCan you use HE tide pods with this system or is it only liquid detergent? Is you can use the pods, where do they go?

- Answer The LG washer will take either powder or liquid detergent, but I couldn't find any reference to the use of Pre-packaged detergents such as the Tide Pods. We use Tide HE liquid detergent and pour it into the dispenser drawer. It works great and we're very happy with the washer. If you want to use a powder detergent, you're supposed to remove the Blue liquid dispenser tray from the detergent drawer. This info is all on page 15 of the LG Washer User Manual.

QuestionAbout how far will the front of the machine stick out from the wall (including when the hoses are attached). I have an area that is 59.5" wide and 33" deep. Just wondering if they will fit or be too large once hooked up

- Answer The WT7700HVA has the following dimensions: (WxHxD) 29" x 45 1/4" x 29". To ensure sufficient clearance for water lines and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 in. (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 in. (10 cm) behind the unit. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^CP

- Answer No there is not an agitator in the middle of the tub. I have always preferred an agitator, thinking that my clothes could not get clean without one but they do!

- Answer There is no way to easily convert a cubic feet capacity which is volume measurement to pounds which is a weight measurement, but with a capacity of 5.7 cubic feet, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.7 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Mega Capacity Top Load Washer With TurboWash® Technology, Model # WT7700HWA will hold an estimated weight of about 20 lbs. Keep in mind that 20 lbs of laundry will weigh a lot more when wet, and that will also depend on what type of items you are loading into the washer. Some items absorb and hold a lot more water...^IFV

- Answer Regrettably, the NFC chip in the iPhone 6 is restricted to Apple Pay and until Apple extends this to developers in future releases of iOS, there is no way around that and the Tag On function will not work with the phone...^IFV
