It does come with a browser installed on the t.v. On initial checking, Google search engine pulls up on the browser's home screen, and you can sign into your account (so you should be able to look at gmail, etc). I am also seeing a tab for Amazon, Reddit, etc that are available to view on the installed browser. I would think that you would be able to log into your bank account, but I wouldn't personally do it just due to potential security leaks. Not saying LG isn't secure, but there have been known hacks to many different brands of t.v's over the last few years, so I wouldn't readily put my bank info on it personally. All of this, of course, means your t.v. has to be connected to your wifi by either wireless or LAN.
