I'm returning this tomorrow for this exact reason. I've had the television for about two weeks. I watch live TV through Hulu Live. Every morning the TV will not reconnect. My WiFi modem is in the same room less than 10' away and running at 375 mb/s. At first I had to attempt to reconnect by re-entering my password a couple of times. Each day it has gotten worse. Now it won't connect at all. All other Firestick, computer, and mobile device are connected and working great. This simply now refuses to connect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Having the same issue. I've changed from 5 ghz to 2.4 ghz as suggested from other forums. Still loses wifi. I've also changed location services as other forums recommend, still the same. It does connect, but drops the connection within 30 minutes. I have other devices connected to WiFi and no issues. Would not ever recommend and LG Smart TV after this experience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know this post is old, but I noticed some fairly recent posts where people are having the same issue. LG did a shoddy job with the WI-FI module inside the TV, resulting in the ribbon cables getting crimped. There's a fairly easy solution for probably most of the people on here, although I'm sure it's a different problem for some. But besides the WiFi connection being unstable, if you notice sometimes that it says your WiFi is turned off, or it only shows your home WiFi on the list when it normally also lists several of your neighbors' WiFi, there's a good chance this will solve your problem. So anyway, you will need to remove all the screws on the back of the TV and take off the back panel. There's a WiFi module that has ribbon cables with tape around them. You will need to remove the tape and simply straighten and smooth out the cable. There's at least one video on YouTube that shows how to do it, in case you're a little nervous. But you don't have to be a tech wizard to do it. Just be careful not to tear the cables and such. I hope this solves your problem as it did mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Spent over $2000 for a c9 and have to use my $69 Roku because the TV can't stay connected. Have to keep entering the password. My last LG.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly this is pretty sad. I was just informed by an LG representative that they have not yet been able to develop the technology to keep the Wi-Fi connected when the TV is turned off... Waste of time.. now have to return the TV and get a new one.. any good suggestion on an actual smart TV. How do you call it a smart TV but it doesn't even stay connected to your WiFi or bootup through apps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I loathe this tv. The wifi does the same thing everyone else is referring to, and now the home screen only comes on intermittently. The "smart" remote works half the time. I have tried all the tricks (aside from taking the back off) and nothing. I want to throw it off my 3rd story balcony. This tv is 2 years old. I shouldn't have to rip it apart to make it work. I know I didn't answer your question, but I do empathize. Might as well have just thrown the money in the toilet. I'm sad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LG is terrible. This is the second TV where the TV will not connect to WiFi. They work great, then they just stop. Support will not assist and will send you to a repair service. With TV prices so low and service so high, it makes zero sense to try to have them serviced. I am just going back to Sony.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes i've experienced this problem too. I thought it was my internet, but all my other devices are staying connect and running on the internet with no problem. I usually log out of the app on the TV and then restart it and it works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.mine is fine if i dont turn it off. after that when it is turned on i must unplug it and plug it back to connect to wifi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had the same issue with lg tv. It does not connect to wifi. It use to work fine 6 months ago started having issues where it would say wifi turned off turn it on. Well there is no way to turn the wifi on . It does it by itself when it wants to once a week and then disconnects in an hour or so. Do not buy LG tv if you are looking to connect via WiFi. Does not work.
