Program closed captions work only on digital / analog broadcasts or external input. IN Analog Mode, CC 1 - CC 4 (Closed Captioning) / TEXT 1 - TEXT 4 Displays the audio portion of a TV program as text on the TV screen. CC 1 is the most common mode in use. Field 1 data channels : two Captions (CC1, CC2), two Text (T1, T2). Field 2 data channels : two Captions (CC3, CC4), two Text (T3, T4). In Digital Mode: According to the digital broadcasting type you are watching, you can select the caption in HD Mode or the UHD Mode. In the case of HD broadcasting, you can set the size and color of the caption at the HD Mode Option. Please select Set By Program or Custom. Standard that optimizes the sound for all types of content. Cinema optimizes the sound for cinemas, Clear Voice III/Clear Voice IV boosts sound clarity, Sports /Soccer optimizes the sound for sports games, Music optimizes the sound for music, and Game optimizes the sound for gameplay. Virtual Surround Plus / Virtual Stadium Surround Plus / ULTRA Surround / ULTRA Stadium Surround allows you to enjoy an immersive soundscape with the virtual multi-channel surround sound effect.     • Answer The LG UHD 70 Series 55 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 55UN7000PUB has an incredibly low input lag. You have to be in 'Game' mode to achieve the lowest input lag possible. There's also an 'Auto Low Latency Mode' that automatically switches the TV into 'Game' mode when you launch a game from a compatible device. If you plan on using this TV as a computer monitor and want low input lag, simply set the input icon to 'PC'. The TV has an Input Lag of 11.0 ms for 1080p @ 60 Hz, 10.1 ms for 1440p @ 60 Hz, 10.3 ms for 4K @ 60 Hz, 10.2 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz + 10 bit HDR, 10.3 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz @ 4:4:4. It also supports HGiG (HDR Gaming Interest Group). The HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGIG) is a group of companies that voluntarily collaborate to create guidelines to enhance the HDR gaming experience. HGiG (HDR Gaming Interest Group) can be found as a setting option under 'Dynamic Tone Mapping'. Enabling HGiG will ensure that tone-mapping adheres to the HGiG's specification for console games in HDR, meaning that tone-mapping will not be done twice (first on console and then on the TV)...^IFV

    • Answer HBO Max and ESPN+ are currently not available on the LG UHD 70 Series 55 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 55UN7000PUB. However, we are continually working to add the latest streaming applications, such as HBO and ESPN+, but cannot provide a concrete timeline right now. In the meantime, our webOS platform offers over 600 apps including streaming content and games - including over 180 free streaming channels via the LG Channels app. Also, you can access much of the HBO content through the Amazon Prime, YouTube TV or Apple TV+ apps that are available on our platform, and the much of the ESPN+ content can be accessed through the Hulu app that is also available on our platform. It has a has an Optical Digital Audio Out that can be connected to a Soundbar that has an Optical Digital Audio In and it also has an HDMI ARC port that can be connected to a Soundbar that also has an HDMI ARC port. There is a Shared Composite/Component Video port in the back of the TV that you can connect your VCR or DVD Player to. If you click on the thumbnail image with "+13 images" under the main image for the TV on its product information page on the Best Buy Site, on the page that opens up, you can click on the third thumbnail image down from the top in the right column to view the ports on the back of the TV...^IFV

For the 50" the dimension are 44.5”W x 28.3"H x 9.3”D with the stand and without the stand are 44.5”W x 26.1”H x 3.4”D. The stand width is 40.9". The diagonal is 49.5". ^Daphane

The PBS is not a compatible app that is available on our platform so it is not available for download and installation on the LG UHD 70 Series 55 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 55UN7000PUB from the LG Content Store (App Store). PBS did finally make its programming available to cutting-the-cord fans in December 2019 with an app that offers the complete lineup of local PBS stations, but it still isn't available on other streaming services like Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV etc., The PBS streaming app, which is available on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick and other platforms, has the complete lineup of PBS shows. The Amazon Prime Video app is a preinstalled app on the TV and the subscription rate for the PBS Documentaries Prime Video Channel is $3.99/month with an Amazon Prime or Prime Video subscription via Prime Video Channels and is available in the US only. The PBS Documentaries Prime Video Channel is a subscription video on demand channel exclusive to Amazon launching August 2020.
