Hello there. Thank you for your question about the Dotsdot TV. While many power cords for TVs are similar, compatibility can vary based on the specific connectors and power requirements of each model. LG TVs often use a standard power cord, but it's important to ensure that the cord from your old Samsung TV matches the required specifications for your new LG TV. To be safe, check the power cord specifications and the connector type for both TVs. If the connector fits and the voltage and amperage ratings are compatible, you should be able to use it. Otherwise, it’s best to use the power cord that comes with your LG TV or purchase a compatible one from an authorized retailer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know what your old power cord looks like, but the end on this one that connects to the TV is pretty standard. And, being that you asked this a month ago, you have probably already figured it out. One thing however that IS true about the LG is that the connection is directly to the house AC plus - there's no transformer between the outlet and the TV.
