I bought the Cerama Bryte cleaning kit from Amazon. It's available elsewhere. Has a razor scraper and cleaning solution. Works really well. I've had zero problems with scratches. I'm careful sliding pans around, but I've even used my cast iron on it, no problem. The stove top is supposed to be cleaned before the first use per the instructions, it's shipped with a coating on it that needs to be washed off. I had to really scrape it with the razor after the first use, but mine is smooth and scratch free now. I use Simple Green for a quick wipe down, too. The instructions also say to clean up spills while the stove top is hot so they don't stick so badly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Per the Owner's Manual, use ceramic cooktop cleaner on the glass cooktop. Other creams may not be as effective or may scratch, damage or stain the cooktop surface. There are several forums on https://www.facebook.com/LGUSA; it is a great resource for getting help from other LG customers. Thank you. ^Daphane
