QuestionI live in remote New Hampshire and my gas option is only propane, not natural gas. Is the stovetop adaptable to propane with different heads? If yes, are they included or are they an additional cost? If additional, what is the approximate cost?

- Answer The propane conversion kit comes with the stove at no charge. We hired our local furnace repair person to do the conversion since the Best Buy charge was excessive.

QuestionCan the height of this range be adjusted?

- Answer It can be adjusted for leveling purposes approx .75” + Anything greater you should adjust floor via shimming with whatever thickness(es) of MDF that are appropriate. These can be relatively narrow strips reaching along sides between leg locations, for example. Read measurements from Installation Manual pdf on specs tab on website and measure your space. Delivery crew should level.

QuestionWhat wattage plug is used for the oven. Is it included.

- Answer The plug is NOT included. The type of plug you need depends on what style receptacle you have at your home. The manual shows the two standard types and how they are to be connected. You can easily find the right plug at most hardware stores, Lowes or Home Depot.

QuestionI had read on another site that there is special preparations that have be made to the sides are rear of cabinetry for heat protection. Are such preparations necessary?

- Answer Check with LG, but I do not think this is necessary. I have not had any issues with heat on the sides or back since I installed our stove. I do have a slight air gap around the stove.

QuestionWhat is the distance between the back and front burners, and between the left and right burners? (I am trying to see what size pans the stovetop can hold if use all 4 burners)

- Answer OK, I just m measured mine. Side to side from the center of each burner is about 16 inches. Remember that there is a griddle burner in between. Front to back from burner centers it was about 8 and 1/2 inches. Grids allow pans to be moved and positioned as needed.

QuestionDoes this model have the feature that converts the convection oven to standard recipes baking times and temperatures?

- Answer The cooking time is converted for Convection mode. For example, turn the oven mode knob to select the Conv. Bake or Conv. Roast. Set the oven temperature, press plus (+) until 375°F appears in the display. Press Start. The display shows Conv. Bake or Conv. Roast and the oven temperature starting at 100 °F. As the oven preheats, the display shows increasing temperatures in 5-degree increments. Once the oven reaches the set adjusted temperature, a tone sounds and the oven light flashes on and off. The display shows the auto converted oven temperature, 350 °F and the fan icon. ^Daphane

- Answer This range requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL-listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination. Do not install the power cord without a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 13/8" diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of a conduit or power cord. If a conduit is being used, go to page 21 of the owners manual for 3 wire conduit connections or 4 wire conduit connections. ^CP

Questionis there a pocket or opening for the gas pipe coming out of the wall to fit in or is the back of the range solid from top to bottom? I have a gas pipe with a shut off that sticks out of the wall about 6-inches and then the flexible gas line attaches

QuestionIs there another range that is comparable to this range that is standard counter height of 36 inches?

- Answer The height in the specs is 37 7/8"... Which is more than an inch higher than a standard 36" counter. The other specs say you can adjust that height 3/4" for leveling, but it looks to me like this thing would stick up like a sore thumb.
