There are range ovens that feature technology that is similar to LG's ProBake Convection but with names such as 'Pure Convection', 'True Convection', or 'European Convection'. Typically for ovens that feature convection baking modes, the heating elements are in the top and bottom of the oven cavity and a convection fan in the middle of the back wall in the oven cavity. The fan circulates hot air inside the oven to create a more even temperature throughout the oven cavity and cook food faster than a traditional oven. In LG Range Ovens that feature LG's ProBake Convection, the heating element is placed around the fan so that the air is heated as it circulates throughout the oven.
