Both ovens can be used at the same time if desired.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not have this model, however, the one I have has a similar configuration, with the electronics above the ovens and in front of the burners. Technically, on mine you can use both ovens and the stovetop simultaneously. The setup will allow you to set and start both ovens, and turn on the burners. HOWEVER the only time I actually did that - to prepare a holiday meal - the electronics over heated and shut down both ovens in mid-bake. It was hours - and several reboots (unplug, count to 50, plug back in) - before the electronics cooled down and came back. Needless to say, alternative meal plans had to be made. The placement and use of electronics on this is bad design, they get heat from both the burners and both ovens, they don’t have a chance, electronics are heat sensitive, always. Add to that, because of the placement, they are impossible to keep clean, constantly covered with drips and splatters. The electronics are the most expensive part of these models, and are entirely unnecessary for the function of the range itself, so they are a hinderance. When they fritz, the ovens no longer function, so over-heating, even a power blip/surge can send them over the edge, leaving your pie half baked, and the oven non-functional for hours. The range looks really beautiful, so if you only sauté the occasional chicken breast, and warm the occasional pizza, go for it. If you need it to reliably bake on a schedule, be warned. We rarely eat out, and I cook most meals, so I always have to plan for the electronics to fritz, which it does every week or so, depending on how much I am using the oven. Then there are the power outages that are way more frequent than I ever remember in the past… no electricity? No gas oven. Sorry, you can’t even heat up a pizza! We had no electricity for 3 days last winter, my sisters - in different states - each had outages that exceeded a week! I am searching for a replacement, but all the manufacturers have added all these additional electronics that fail, so I am trying repairing this one for now, why buy more of something that works poorly? Get the extended warranty that covers parts & labor! And plan on waiting weeks for a service person to actually fix it. That is IF they can get the part - electronics are mostly made in China! My part is currently unavailable…
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, Yes you can cook both lower and upper ovens at the same time and independently. The only issue is there is only one timer if your food has different temperature and time to cook at the same time .
