The rear filler is a piece of black trim that runs along the back of the range to cover the gap space to the wall/counter. Make sure the delivery guys attach this during the install. Mine did not and unfortunately I did not notice for a day. The filler for my range was then tossed out with the delivery truck packaging garbage. It took months to get a piece sent out from LG w/multiple mistakes on their part. It was a real annoyance to an otherwise excellent delivery/install experience and a range that we are very satisfied with. Also note that the range does not come with any other type of counter trim. This was a true bummer since I had to order stainless steel pieces to cover the side counter gaps at a cost of over $50. Aesthetically they are not as nice as counter trim built into range as in my previous range but they do the job. LG should look into providing a one piece trim kit that goes around the back and sides. It is necessary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it is an optional piece you can use to touch the back wall to take up the gap from the gas plumbing. We left ours off because it really adds nothing but headache for cleaning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The delivery guys didn't leave me the rear gap filler. I called the salesman who I dealt with and he said "They don't come with that." Page 19 of my manual says they do. I think the delivery guys throw it out with the packaging without realizing what it is. Now I have a gap behind my oven and my wife is ready to send the oven back because she can't handle the way it looks with the gap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The stove has a very limited area that your gas nozzle and line will fit so that you are able to push it all the way against the wall. So if your gas line is coming through the floor and is too tall or not on the correct side of the stove back, you have to leave it out a bit. The filler is for the gap that is created at the back, top of the stove if you are unable to push it all the way to the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it’s to keep things from falling behind it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just had an induction stove delivered Friday and it did not come with the filler. Now I have a space in the back of my NEW range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the counter does not bridge the opening at the rear wall, use the rear filler kit provided with the slide-in range. If the countertop depth is greater than 25" there will be a gap between the filler kit and the back wall. If the countertop depth is less than 24", the control panel will not sit flush with the countertop. ^Daphane
