“BURN IN IMAGE We bought a 60 inch plasma LG TV and we (me and my husband) were wondering if we watch like TV and like say NICK JR is at the bottom of the TV we were wondering if we watch that television show and it doesn't go away because it is part of the program will it burn into our TV”

• Plasma TVs are subject to burn-in, however, it is only if an image is left still on the screen for a long period of time. Even so, the LG Plasma TVs have a color wash option in order to prevent/eliminate a burn-in issue.

• In short, yes.. any static image left on a plasma screen over an extended period of time will burn in eventually, and create what is called a "ghost image" on the screen. If you are worried turn on the Orbiter function. " Orbiter may help prevent ghost images. However, it is best not to allow any fixed image to remain on the screen. To avoid a ghost image on the screen, the image will move every 2 minutes."
