QuestionCan anyone attest to the sound quality? I prefer not using the surround sound late at night. Do the set's speakers have decent quality and volume?

- Answer We do not have a soundbar or any other peripheral sound system. This replaced a 47 inch LG and the sound quality is better. We notice that we don't have to have the volume turned up as high and it is a better quality than on the smaller tv.

QuestionHow wide a surface is needed for the stand? I know the TV is 53.5 inches wide, but how far apart are the stand legs?

QuestionI just bought this tv today. So the specs on BestBuy.com shows 120HZ Refresh rate. But the LG website shows a 60HZ refresh rate. What's the deal?

- Answer Best Buy Web Site is wrong. it is 60Hz actual refesh and 120Hz TrueMotion simulated refresh rate. So same as every other TV in this case.

QuestionI need to purchase a stand for this TV. Some TV stands have a mount at the middle of the stand. Can this TV be mounted to a stand in that manner or is it strictly wall mount or use the legs that come with it?

- Answer The only options you have for the LG 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 60" Class (59.9" Diag), Model # 60UJ6300 are to either Wall Mount it or use the stand legs that are supplied with the TV. You cannot use any other type of stand base...^IFV

QuestionHas LG dealt with the generic problem of failure of the entire HDMI input circuit in their TVs? I have a 55 inch LG TV which is about 5 years old and it suffered a catastrophic failure of the HDMI input ports, only two of which were ever used.

- Answer I had same issue with my LG. All of the HDMI ports went out one at a time during the first 18 months. I have several other flat screens and never had an issue with any of them; Samsung,Sony, and Vizeo. I have found many people online having same issue with LG. I know I won't buy another one from them.

- Answer If your receiver supports the HDMI ARC functionality and has an HDMI ARC port on it you can connect it to the HDMI ARC on the LG 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 60" Class (59.9" Diag), Model # 60UJ6300 or you can connect the Optical Digital Audio Out on the TV to the Optical Digital Audio In on your receiver. You will need to go into the sound settings in the TV to specify the path for the audio to output through...^IFV

QuestionAre the leg stands detachable? Or are they built-in? Because I'd like to mount the TV on my wall, but I think it'd look a bit strange with the leg-stands on.

- Answer The 60UJ6300 does have an optical port so it will connect to a sound bar with that connection. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. Basically, it means better brightness levels, greater contrast and a wider color palette.

- Answer The 60UJ6300 is able to be mounted with mounts compatible with the VESA pattern 300mm x 300mm. This TV is manufactured for use in the USA and does require 120Vac for optimal operation, however, the TV can withstand up to 240Vac with an adapter if needed. ^CP
