Hello, yes it is.^Venette
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe anything is available with 8k at 120hz. With that said, this TV will support most of the features of PS5 and Xbox series. The things missing would be vrr and Dolby Vision Gaming at 120hz (new format that isn't the same as making sure a TV has Dolby Vision and 120hz.) The LG B3 and up check all the boxes. For Sony, only the a95l checks all the boxes.

You will also get full support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos or DTS. As for 8k, while both consoles say they support it, actually finding 8k content other than on YouTube is very limited. 8k will only support 60hz refresh but this is not the fault of either the consoles or this tv. That is just the max for standard HDMI 2.1. You will not be disappointed using this TV with either an Xbox series X or PS 5. The TV has a dedicated game mode for enhanced frame rate and defaults that can be set for various game types. It has basic AI that will detect video content and auto set video modes if desired and the AI room audio works well too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You bought this TV about 10 years too early. Cable/Sat TV is still 720 or 1080i. Most of what you find on streaming services is 1080p with some 4k.
