I just received my LG QNED 8K 99 TV today and as far as I can tell there is no VRR whatsoever! BUT,,,,, I Played XBOX Series X and PC RTX 3090 in 4K 120p.... And this TV is so Buttery Smooth it is like you are skateboarding instead of walking. Butter! Smoother than any VRR I have Experienced. So I think with this Processor you will not need VRR! And the 8K upscaling is Mind Blowing. So much Depth, Beyond 3D, I swear! You will Love this TV. Deep Dark Blacks, Super Bright and Colors and HDR Sparkle and Pop! I returned the other Brand MiniLed. Get this TV!
Sorry, there was a problem. You guys need to add that in the specs and features section and make it clear because I'm not the first person to ask this question so you need to definitively list VRR as a feature for the QNED99UPA 8K models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this TV, Buddy! I Promise you that there is NO VRR Whatsoever. There is a Game Bar, but it only has the Black and White Stabalizer Settings. There are not any VRR settings at all, not even grayed out options. They are not there at all. When I connect my VIZIO TV, I do get G-Sync settings appear on PC and I do have FreeSync on XBOX, But on the 8K 99 QNED LG TV, there is NO VRR! Tho, this TV is extremely smooth without VRR on XBOX Series X! On PC with Cyber Punk I need to turn on V-Sync to prevent Tearing and then it is Glorious!

Also please inform reviewers and industry media as they are stating that the QNED99 8K models do not support VRR. I contacted support asking this same question since these models lacking VRR is inconsistent, and was told a product specialist needed to be consulted and I would receive a response within 5 days. That was several weeks ago and I still haven't received a response. I was really looking forward to the 86" model, but I'll have to look elsewhere if it doesn't support VRR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Daphne you answered yes but I was told that there is no VRR for the QNED99 (8K Models) from one of your support agents from the main LG site. If the QNED99(8K Models) do support VRR then why has LG not updated the product page for this model on the main website. I wish you guys were just straight with us instead of giving false information. ....and what could be the possible reasoning behind not adding VRR for a new technology on the higher end 8K models? This has to be one of the most asinine moves a company has made to introduce a new product with new technology. I know it's wishful thinking but I wish I could hear from a top exec as to WHY they made this decision.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What the heck was LG thinking not including VRR on the QNED 8K models? Was this done purposely? Did they run out of time and needed to get the TV to the market? I need answers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.VERY HAPPY to hear the LG 65QNED99UPA supports VRR!! I’m very much looking forward to playin Xbox series X on the QNED tv when I get mine tomorrow & get to c how well they work together! Only other thing I noticed that I would not expect from a tv that costs as much as the QNED 8k tv’s do is 3 very old USB 2.0 plugins instead of USB C or at least USB 3.0, the tv is also not energy star certified, & the stock wall mount for the QNED tv’s on the LG website says only for the 75 inch & 86 inch TVs so I guess 65QNED99UPA owners get left out on that one. I didn’t get to see this tv in person before buying it so I really hope it is as awesome as it sounded like on the LG website but if not at least I have 14 days to take it back to Best Buy & then I’ll just have to wait for QD-OLED TV’s I guess.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the TV offers VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). ^Daphane
