I have become sort of an expert on wireless headphones as I have tried over 30 different true wireless earbuds over the last couple of years. That said connectivity varies greatly with both the headphones and the devices you try to pair to. I use these every day from watching my LG OLED CX TV to using them on my phone and my work and home computers to make work calls and to game and talk with friends and family. What I have discovered is that some do better connecting to my computer but not as well with my TV and vice versa. I have two different models from my favorite manufacturer and on has some slight connection issues with the TV while the other pair have no issues at all. I will say that sadly the headphones I had the most trouble with were from Bose and I am and have been a massive Bose fan since the 90's. So it pains me to say it but that is the way it is. Their true wireless earbuds (2019 model) were not even able to connect to a laptop using an intel bluetooth chip (It is well documented online of this issue). There are lots of brands out there so I would suggest trying another brand out (from Best Buy since you can return them and try another pair if they don't work).
