Yes it will still be 4K at 120. The 40 gbs will not effect anything becase all current TV’s have 10 bit color panels and only need at least 40 gbs to be displayed. If TV were 12 bit panels then there would be problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a non-issue. The LG OLEDs are 10 bit panels and can go 4k120 4:4:4 chroma @ 10 bit color (only requires 40.1gbps). TL:DR this TV will be fine for anything, including nextgen consoles. Only time it may be an issue is if you are a PC gamer and NVIDIA doesnt change their drivers to allow 10 bit 4:4:4 color. You will need to use 8bit, as they only allow 8 and 12 bit right now.
