A:Answer I have this same problem. I bought my TV last night and it kept freezing and wouldn't start up right out of the box. Finally got it to work and then it kept randomly shutting off. LG Customer Support kept saying to unplug it and hold the power button while the TV is unplugged. Tried that. They also said to make sure all the timers on the TV are turned off. I knew that wasn't an issue because sometimes the TV would turn off after 10 minutes and sometimes after 30 seconds. I still checked the timer settings, they were off. Now when I turn the TV on, it won't go past the LG logo screen when it first boots up. Out of the, maybe 15 times I've tried, I've gotten to the "webOS" screen twice and then the TV shuts off. They recommend going to Best Buy and getting the TV replaced. That's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to get it replaced with a Samsung. My old TV is a Samsung which I've had for 12+ years and it still works great. The only reason for the new TV is I just wanted a 4K and size upgrade. I'm definitely going back to Samsung. LG is horrible.
