• You would not be able to setup the unit to record programs. You would need to have an external DVR or TiVo device for recording. ^ Jamal

• The TV itself doesn't record. You would need a receiver box of sorts. I believe LG makes one compatible with this model.

• It lets you set reminders which will tune to the station at the designated time, but it will not record. I spent time with LG support regarding this topic. Even with a USB drive properly connected, it does not record current or future programs.
