I have a LG OLED65B7A and it absolutely does come with a screensaver by default. I can't find where to configure the screensaver, but the screensaver comes on in about 2 minutes after it senses no activity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The screen saver automatically kicks in (when set). The screensaver on mine is fireworks bursting at random places around the screen. This is my 2nd OLED and I have never had an issue with burn-in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an LG 4K and they do not have a screensaver but after a few minutes on pause it plays and shows some new upcoming tv shows or movies but no nice app for screensaver like swimming fish with water sound.I use my Roku stick on my tv and you can choose and set up the wallpapers and screensavers apps you like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has features to prevent burn in (Pixel refresh, screen shift) and LG will coach you on how to solve image retention but it still happens and the fixes don’t work. Watched CNN for a few hours and the CNN logo is seen burnt in on the right and “BREAKING NEWS” burnt in on the left. LG is providing a one time free fix and a repair company is coming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately they have a screensaver that is very intrusive. It comes in even when there is no static image on the screen while you are viewing media content using apps from their App Store. It is because of this I do not recommend buying LG. I just bought one and this screensaver interrupts viewing with no way to turn it off. I wish I would have bought a Samsung TV like my daughter did which does not have this problem using the very same apps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does have a screen-saver that comes on. It even powers itself off it idle but neither of these help. It still get's burn-ins if you watch a channel that has bright colors/banners frequently. I have a permanent burn-in in less than 1YR. Unfortunately I spent a bunch of cash on this TV and couldn't justify spending another $400 for a extended warranty since I have been lucky with my previous 65" TV's but have never owned and OLED before. I've read up on this (too late) and have realized that these panels are EXTREMELY prone to burn-in :(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The screen darkens a little bit to help. I don't think it actually has a screen saver. Most bluray players nowadays has a screen saver if you have it on pause during a show. My Dad said that it would have to be on a still frame for several hours for burn in to occur. Though I would still be careful. I would say the picture is worth the extra care to insure that burn in doesn't occur.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LG tvs unfortunately aren't equipped with screensavers, which is a peculiar choice in that LED and OLED tvs suffer from burn-in if left paused for too long. Your best bet is to turn the unit off when not playing back media.
