- Answer You can pair the LG 7.1.2-Channel 710W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos with Google Assistant, Model # SL10RG with the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55'' Class (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55B6P via Bluetooth, connect it via its HDMI ARC or Optical Digital Audio Input. However, the OLED55B6P does not support Dolby Atmos® nor does it have Dolby Atmos® pass through so you will not get Dolby Atmos® on the Soundbar through the TV...^IFV

QuestionYes I was wondering if the LG sl10yg soundbar is the soundbar in this. Is this just the LG SL10YG soundbar bundled with rear speakers??? Or is it an older model?

- Answer I asked the LG rep at Best Buy the same question and yes the sound bar in this is the SL10YG. In this version you get the rear speakers included with the sound bar and sub. I guess they just gave the bundle and different name.

- Answer Thomas, the rear speaker hub is wireless. However, from the speaker hub to the speakers itself you still have thin speaker wires.

QuestionI already have a Chromecast dongle plugged into an HDMI port on my Samsung TV. Would using this LG soundbar mean i could get rid of the Chromecast? I'm asking because it would free up an additional HDMI port if I could get rid of the Chromecast dongle.

- Answer The [2] in the 7.1.2 configuration for the LG 7.1.2-Channel 710W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Dolby Atmos® with Google Assistant - Black, Model # SL10RG refers to the upfiring speakers that are needed for Dolby Atmos®. If you are not receiving Dolby Atmos® signals, then not using the two upfiring speakers will not make that much difference...^IFV

- Answer I think clarity would have more to do with the settings selected on the TV feeding into the sound bar. We have that sound bar and have very good clarity after I changed the TV settings. I don't know if this helps or not.

QuestionI have an LG OLED C8 55" tv. While connected through ARC, will Dolby Atmos pass through to the sound bar with this sound bar? I know the Samsung and Nakamichi dolby atmos bars don't. Thanks

- Answer Yes, it will. Ensure you connect the HDMI Out (ARC) from LG SL10RG to HDMI In (ARC) on the back of your LG OLED C8 55". Then, whenever you are watching any Dolby Atmos TV show or movies, it will automatically display on your LG SL10RG and provide the necessary output in your speakers.

- Answer The rear surround speakers for the LG SL10RG 7.1.2 Channel High Res Audio Sound Bar with Surround Speakers are wireless and cannot be wired nor can the wireless receiver for the rear speakers. You can connect the Soundbar to other devices via HDMI or via the Optical Digital Audio port using the appropriate cables. The Subwoofer is an active Subwoofer so that cannot be wired either..^IFV

QuestionDoes this system have the equivalent of an AUX input? My computer is next to my 55" LG TV and I'd like a sound system to be used by both. My computer sound card has a mini phone plug output and these TV based systems don't seem to work with PC's.

- Answer The closer the Subwoofer is to the main unit for the LG 7.1.2-Channel 710W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos with Google Assistant, Model # SL10RG the better the sound quality. Like most Class 2 Bluetooth devices, the Bluetooth range for the Subwoofer is 33 feet (10 m) but there are many obstacles in an average home that will attenuate the signal and reduce the range. It will vary from one home to another so it's a matter or trial and error to find what range works best in your home...^IFV

QuestionCan I connect a turntable through a pre-amp to my tv to listen to LPs through the sound bar? Salesman say yes. Geek squad tricked the tv, but the screen now says ‘no signal’ and after 10 minutes tv and sounder shut down so no music.

- Answer I wish someone from Best Buy would answer this question.... I feel scammed by GeekSquad and the sales guy... Unfortunately, I bought this just before CoVid hit... Even though the installers told me to text them with any problems, they never texted me back.... The problem was obviously over their head.

QuestionHDR pass through doesn’t seem to be working with the Xbox One X. Using LG C9 TV with Monoprice hmdi certified cables 18gbps. Connecting Xbox directly to TV triggers HDR automatically. What could be the issue with the receiver not passing HDR through?

- Answer Turn off the “Instant Game Response” funtion. When xbox triggers hdr it sometimes drops out signal but comes back. I was unable to get it to work at all until I turned it off. Occasionally you may have to return to home screen to get the signal to return. It’s an lg/xbox issue, hopefully it gets fixed with the new xbox this holiday season!
