I bought the 7.3 CU FT dryer and it fits a full load from a 5.2 CU FT washer just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may want to check out the matching dryer complimenting the washer you bought. I personally never totally fill the washer or the dryer, for one, because I feel the laundry does not get cleaned well in the washer and if the dryer is too full the clothing gets wrinkled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your inquiry is appreciated! For most Washing Machines/Dryer Combos, The capacity of the machine for washing clothes is twice as much as when drying clothes. If the machine is to be used to dry a load, then the wash load must be reduced by half for effective drying performance. If a full load is washed, you would need to remove half the clothes prior to starting the dry cycle. But since you have a single standing 5.2 cubic foot washer, there really is no right or wrong answer because a full load will vary according to the type of garments you're washing! A full load of sheets will vary quite a bit from a full load of towels, but if you're looking at the LG - 7.3 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Ultra large Capacity Steam Electric Dryer, Model # DLEX5680W, that should prove adequate enough! Just remember, the load must have room to tumble to wash effectively. Just because an item can be forced into the drum does not mean it should be washed in the machine. It must be able to tumble which means that you're not really using all 5.2 cubic foot of the washer, so much that a 7.3 cubic foot capacity is close to being twice the cubic capacity of your washer so it should accommodate your loads! If you really want to be certain, just look at what the capacity is for your current dryer and look for a dryer with a larger capacity!...IFV

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What size dryer do I need to handle a G E King Size capacity washer?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the matching dryer is 9 cu ft if that helps. They definitely need plenty of room to toss around and this dryer delivers. You can see an indepth review of both at http://youtu.be/XM-MY9sv0Ck if you're interested.
