QuestionMy dryer was just installed yesterday. The door has no obstructions but is only opening down about 3/4 of the way. Shouldn't pull all the way down and lay flat?

It only opens 3/4 of the way and is not designed to pull all the way don and lay flat...^IFV

QuestionDoes it need to be connected to a water source or can water just be poured into a reservoir for the steam feature?

- Answer The dryer has to be hooked up to the same water hoses as the washing machine. In my install, they used a small splitter hose to connect the dryer with the same hoses as the washing machine.

QuestionDoes the steam hose need to be hooked up for the washer to be functional? or can it function with out it? my washer and dryer are on opposite walls so the hose hook up may not be able to reach from one to the other.

- Answer The DLEX7600WE dryer is shipped to vent to the rear. It can also be configured to vent to the bottom or side. ^CP

QuestionThe listing says comes with drying rack. Drying rack was not included. Also a new dryer vent hose was not included. How do I fix this problem and recieve the items as advertised?

- Answer Mine did not come with a drying rack or a vent hose. Nor had another dryer I've ever bought. Those are generally add on items you buy separately. Dryer vents are never included because there are different ones and sizes.

- Answer Nope - Assuming you have the dryer near the washer, the steam kit comes with a Y connector for the faucet that goes on the same line as your washer. Unhook the washer hose from the faucet, screw the Y connector on, hook up the washer hose and dryer steam hose to the Y connector.

Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7200VE has its own terminal block that must be plugged into a separate 240 VAC, 60 Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes. The circuit must be fused on both sides of the line. In the U.S., to prevent fire, electric shock, serious injury, or death, the wiring and grounding must conform to the latest edition of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70 and all applicable local regulations. ^CP

- Answer The answer to your question is yes. The directions describe it as difficult because the dryer door is very heavy so they recommend that you have a service technician do it for you. Disappointingly, mine was done opposite of how I requested when I ordered it and didn't notice it until the installation techs had left. I will be making a request for another service call.

QuestionI recently switched the door hinges and while removing the screws from the bottom hinge a metal plate inside of the cabinet dropped to the bottom of the dryer and now I am unable to attach the hinge back. What do I do know?

- Answer You need to buy a 3 or 4 wire 220 volt cord to attach to the dryer and then it plugs it into a 220 volt wall outlet.
