• 34 inches. The reason why is because i added 5 inches more for the aluminum exhaust vent hose that conects to the back of dryer. That also needs some space. =Total distance from wall 34 inches.

• The minimum depth is 29-1/2". This dryer has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and rear. There should be at least a little space around the dryer (or any other appliance) to eliminate the transfer of vibration from one appliance to another. ^Daphane
