I am surprised Best Buy could not answer your question. The lint vent is just inside the door and is easily cleaned. I don't know the answer to your next question. I do not turn off the dry feature, but there are settings for delicates.

Please try again later.As you open the dryer door, the lint filter is located on the inside bottom sill of the dryer (i.e. next to where the bottom of door is, when closed). Pull up on the "handle" (fingers on the inside) to extract filter. To turn off the SENSOR DRY feature, I use the MANUAL DRY option.

As for the sensor dry feature, it is designed to automatically detect moisture levels in your laundry; however, you can select a different drying cycle that does not use the sensor dry feature if you prefer manual control.
