“How does the steam function work? Do you need a water hookup to the dryer?”

• For this model, the dryer does need to be hooked up to a water line - there's a "Y" hose included so you can tee off the line for the washing machine. The function works by spraying steam into the dryer from a port on the back of the dryer. It seems to help with wrinkles and static the most.
