A:AnswerThe LG 70 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (69.5'' Diag), Model # 70UM7370PUA is a 2019 model and Model # 70UN7370PUC is a 2020 model which was recently released. New features for the 2020 model is the latest webOS TV Platform, Sports Alert mode which allows users to pick their favorite teams and get on-screen alarms for game times, game score updates, and at-a-glance highlights, a “Who. Where. What?” feature that makes live TV more interactive by answering voice queries on who the actors are, where a scene is located, and what some of the products on the screen may be. LG’s own voice assistant is smarter and more capable, better recognizing natural language and providing more personable responses. Interactions feel more like talking to a person than a robot, and where the LG assistant’s abilities trail off, Alexa or Google Assistant takes over. For instance, LG’s assistant can help you find content or change the channel, while Google Assistant steps in to give you news and weather information or help you order a pizza. Filmmaker Mode™ is a setting that respects the craft. It translates a director’s cinematic vision to your TV with automatic picture and processor settings and brings true authenticity. IT will receive a firmware update later this year that adds support for HGiG which supports TVs behaving in a predictable way, such that game rendering engines handle all of the HDR tone mapping and allow the TV to simply clip highlights at whatever the TV’s peak brightness level happens to be. This should help eliminate some of the poor image quality seen with some HDR games recently...^IFV

A:AnswerHi Darren. Regrettably, the LG UHD 73 Series 70 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (69.5'' Diag), Model # 70UN7370PUC has not been tested for compatibility with hearing aides and we cannot make any recommendations about any that are designed to work with TVs. Hearing aides are able to connect to a variety of of different devices through wireless technology, including Bluetooth. We highly recommend that you contact the manufacturer for your hearing aides to ask if they will connect to a Bluetooth enabled TV like this model. Your hearing aides will need to be able to interpret the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) Bluetooth profile which defines how high quality stereo audio can be streamed from one device to another over a Bluetooth connection. You can check the specifications for your Bluetooth hearing aides to see if that profile is supported...^IFV

A:AnswerI've been able to hook up a flashdrive and an external hard disk to the TV USB port input with success in playing videos, pictures, and music. If you load the files onto the drive with a Mac, you may see some of the invisible files that Mac writes... they can't be played. I think a hard disk needs to be formatted by Windows... not positve on that though... haven't tried a Mac formatted hard disk.
A:AnswerThere is no stand alone App for HBO in the LG store. I have Xfinity as my internet provider that comes with the free TV stream service. I had to download the application. It works just beautifully . In order to watch HBO, you can add HBO service and watch it through the Xfinity app. I am pretty sure other TV provider works with LG. I hope that answers the question the best as my knowledge.
