QuestionAre these compatible with soundbar SN7Y? I bought this item and the green light is on but I don’t hear sound from the side speakers. Does it work with every channel and movie? I have a Sony Bravia TV. Is there an additional manual?

- Answer Adjust volume on rear speakers through sound bar remote to max level. Use earc to connect sound bar to tv. .I believe the SN7Y has a pass through hdmi which you can use to connect blueray player then coneect sound bar to earc port on tv using main hdmi port on sound bar. Manual soundbar came with show which button to engage in order to adjust rear speaker volume.

QuestionHow deep is the nutsert on the bottom and side of the speakers? I ordered a pair of stands and understand I need to provide my own 4mm bolts to fasten the speakers to the mounting plate. How long or short should the 4mm bolt be to ensure a good fit?

- Answer You can always "shorten" the bolt on the stand with a rubber or nylon washer. Take a speaker and a stand into home depot and find what you need to make it work. Slip on the washer/spacer, then attach the speaker. I do this with a video camera and audio recorder mounted to a special tripod.

- Answer The rear speaker kit SPK8-S is compatible with Soundbar SP9YA. They are not completely wireless. The must be connected to the receiver then they wireless connect to the Soundbar. ^Daphane

QuestionDo these LD Rear speakers have their own volume control, seperate from the TV? I have a set of rear speakers for another TV and they are not loud enough and cannot be tured louder, independent of the TV volume. I do not want to make that mistake again.

- Answer On the lg soundbar app they do have a setting to increase and decrease the volume of these independently to a level of +-6. Now I don't know if you can use these without an lg soundbar though. That you might have to find out from LG.

- Answer I used Rocketfish. You get all the mounting hardware for what looks like 10 different types of speakers. Pick out the 1 you actually need. And throw the rest away.
